Unarmed Guarding

Our EmployeeScreening

Our recruitment process is designed to extract only capable, trustworthy, qualified personnel as all applicants are put through intense physical and academic exercises, from which the best performers are selected. To advance to becoming an Amalgamated Security Guard, prospective employee must produce a Certificate of Good Character issued by the Police Service of Trinidad and Tobago and undergo drug testing, as well as physical and psychological evaluations. Background checks are also made on all selected applicants before they are invited to join the ASSL security guard team.

Our EmployeeTraining

Employee training is one criterion that makes Amalgamated Security stand above other providers of security guards. Prospective employees undergo intense training in general security duties before becoming an Amalgamated Security Officer. To ensure that we maintain our edge, our security officers are exposed to continuous training and skill improvement techniques where they are kept abreast of developments in the security industry.

Our Supervision

Our security supervisors regularly visit each guarding customer assignment to ensure that our security guards are performing to the contractual requirements and in accordance with agreed instructions. In addition to ensuring that security officers understand and perform their functions, our supervisors also function as the liaison between the customer and the company. Our supervisors therefore regularly meet with the customer’s representatives to discuss security concerns and highlight any security risks.
Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) has earned an enviable reputation with respect to the quality and competency of our security guards in Trinidad and Tobago.
