2021 - 2023
  • July 2023– Amalgamated Security acquired majority shareholding of Eche Limited which operates in the cash management and digital payments in Jamaica.

2019 - 2010
  • March 2019– Amalgamated Security acquired 100% shareholding of Massy Security (Guyana) Inc which operates in the Cash Services, Guarding and Alarm Monitoring fields.

  • February 2019 – Awarded triple world class certification; ISO 9001, ISO 18788 and PSC-1 for a three (3) year period subsequent to successful completion of stage 1 and 2 audits conducted by MSS Global.

  • December 2018 – Mrs. Pamela Hosein, inaugurated as the New Chief Executive Officer of Amalgamated Security Services Limited.

  • December 2018 – Mrs. Pamela Hosein, Director awarded Empowered Woman of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

  • December 2017 – Mrs. Pamela Hosein, Director awarded Top Female Executive Director of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

  • November 2017 – Mr. Michael Aboud, Executive Chairman/Chief Executive Officer awarded an Honorary Doctor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation by the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

  • November 2017 – Awarded the Bill Zalud Memorial Award from the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO).

  • January 2017 – Awarded the STOW in Excellence Award by the Trinidad & Tobago Energy Chamber, in recognition of attaining 100% compliance in each element of the Safe to Work (STOW) HSE requirements at the end of its STOW certification audit in 2016.

  • November 2015 – Dr. Michael Aboud (Honorary) awarded Master Entrepreneur Finalist Award and The People’s Empowerment Award by Ernst & Young. 

  • August 2015 – Awarded the CIO 100 Honoree Award, Amalgamated Security Services Limited Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) Department, as a leader in innovation and business value creation. 

  • November 2015 – Awarded Service Provider of the Year 2015 and Best Use of Innovation in Service by the Trinidad & Tobago Coalition of Service Industries (TTSCI).

  • December 2014 – Awarded the Prestigious People’s Choice 2014 Award. Amalgamated Security (Grenada) People’s Choice Award by the Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

  • 2014 – Ventas de Seguridad, the leading magazine and portal for the electronic security industry in Latin America, ranked Amalgamated Security Services Business Unit for Electronic Security & Integrated Systems (ESIS) the second most recognized integrator for electronic security throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

  • October 2014 – Awarded Top Gold Partner in Trinidad Award by Axis Communications.

  • September 2016, September 2013 & September 2010 –  Awarded the Organizational Award of Merit for outstanding leadership and commitment to professional development of security and management by the ASIS International Professional Certification Board.

2009 - 2000
  • 2008 – Appreciation award for outstanding contribution and commitment to the Antikidnapping Unit. 

  • November 2005, September 2006, December 2007 & December 2007 – Awarded a plaque congratulating Amalgamated Security Services Limited on One Year Lost Time, Incident Free within BHP Billiton Trinidad & Tobago operations and for effort and enthusiasm by BHP Billiton Trinidad & Tobago.

  • July 2002 – Awarded Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of outstanding support for the Security Industry Association’s efforts by Security Industry Association (SIA).

  • December 2002 – Archangel Ambulance awarded Excellent Services Plaque by Imran and Indira Ali signifying their sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided by the Ambulance unit of Amalgamated Security Services Limited.

  • 2000 – Dr. Michael Aboud (Honorary) selected as an honored member of the International Who’s Who Professionals, The Ultimate Professional Directory.

  • 2000 – Awarded the Gold Level Dealer Award by Maxon America Inc. 
1999 - 1990
  • 1999, 1998 & 1997 – Awarded the Gold Level Dealer Award by Maxon America Inc. 

  • 1998 – Acknowledged in the Eric Williams Memorial Collection by the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus for support provided in making the inaugural dedication possible.

  • 1997 – Winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards – Services, Retail & Distribution in 1997.

  • 1997:1998 – The only private security company to manage on behalf of a government prison correctional facilities. The only private security company to be given responsibility under contract to manage a remand boy’s facility for first offenders.

  • 1996 : Present – The only private security company in the Caribbean region to be awarded a contract with a Caribbean state to transport prisoners on behalf of the government from all correctional facilities to the courts.

  • 1987 – Dr. Michael Aboud (Honorary) awarded a Certificate in recognition of Distinguished Achievement in Firearms Proficiency by National Rifle Association.

Other Achievements
  • Accredited by National Safety Council NSC (USA) for programs in Defensive Driving and First Aid.
  • Authorized Training facilitator for handguns and shotguns in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • IQ certification from installation Qualification Certification board for our Central Monitoring Station.
  • Crime stoppers Secure Certification Program.
  • The only private security company on a joint venture to manage a Caribbean island National Ambulance Service.
